Just a little about me...

This isn't my main blog.  I admit, I pretty much made this account because there were some wonderful blogs that I like to read but I couldn't leave them comments without having an account.  So there we are.  :)  My main blog I guess, is on xanga, but I haven't really been using it that much as of late so maybe I should switch over.  I think I keep it out of nostalgia.  Maybe once I'm on winter break I can finally archive all of those old posts and leave xanga for good.  Although...maybe I don't want to keep all of those old posts?  Does anyone else read their old posts occasionally?  It used to be a diary of sorts for me and honestly, some of those posts are kind of lame and embarrassing.  hehe.  

Anyway, a little about me:  I adore books, all books but fiction especially.  Some titles:  When I Was Five, I Killed Myself; The Wind-up Bird Chronicle; Kafka on the Shore; Fluke; Nine Stories; On Writing, Dangerous Angels; etc., etc. I know I have more favorites but I can't think of them right now.  I watch a lot of Food Network.  My favorite is the Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten.  She rocks.  :)  My favorite holiday is Christmas.  Um...let's see, what else?  I learned to cook only 2 years ago and I'm 26 now, sad, I know.  I guess I should say I'm still learning.  Speaking of learning, I'm in Grad School and will be for some time.  *sigh*  Perpetual student and all that although I think "lifelong learner" is a nicer way of putting it, don't you?  

Okay, I guess that's it for now.  We'll see if I put up another post.  :D
